Amplify Health was commended by the awards programme for successfully transforming the medical claims adjudication process for one of Malaysia’s largest health insurers through AI-driven health intelligence.

• AI-Enabled clinical enrichment – Use of multi-stage generative AI algorithms to rapidly map health claims text into a comprehensive range of clinical codes across 17 medical domains, with systematic human-in-the-loop quality assurance. 

• Rapid custom policy guidelines tracking – Automatic tracking of claim compliance with corporate and individual policy arrangements, including complex clinical rules, negotiated hospital tariffs, duplicate claims detection.

• Granular FWA detection – Machine learning models analyse each itemised claim and identify potential instances of FWA, such as overcharging, overservicing, procedure and diagnosis mismatches. This goes beyond flagging suspicious claims by pinpointing specific line items that human assessors should review.
